One Gurung, One world by Chandra Sing Gurung

Namaste! Saban mu?

With a firm conviction that the humanity of our generation and beyond need to promote equality, selflessness, education and peace. We as "One Gurung, One Nepalese and One world" need to move forward with the changing time, to adjust to the changing world with the notion of global village, we need to preserve our own culture, language and our Gurkhas values, at the same time, we need to respect the cultures, religion and values of the society we are exposed to especially in the Western World.

Time has changed so has Nepal and Nepalese, today, for better Gurung or Tamu, we need to share, care and learn and respect the cultures and the values of others. Fellow Gurungs who are ahead in term of leadership, intellectual capacity and so forth need to build a moral obligation to guide our younger sisters and brothers regardless of race, religion, nationality and ethnicity. Mutual support, mutual understanding, proactive approach in learning new skills and knowledge is fundamentally essential. It is even more important to impart the skills and knowledge, so that the knowledge becomes an honour. This has the greatest potential to advance Gurung with the rest of the society and ultimately promoting a sustainable global peace.

Chhaynle tid O Tamumai!
